London Borough of Merton commissioned PI Group to work with the Council to redesign office space to meet the requirements of a post-pandemic hybrid working world, aiming to create a ‘Merton Office of the Future’ at its Civic Centre HQ in Morden that would help recruit and retain staff and provide accommodation that makes them want to work in the office.
Throughout an extended project period, PI group have been instrumental in bringing this vision to reality by developing design ideas; explaining and selling the benefits of new ways of working to different groups of staff across the Council; and in procuring and managing smoothly the FF&E fit-out of the finished design. In sometimes challenging circumstances PI have always been a pleasure to work with: friendly, professional and responsive at all times.
