Project details: Pi Group were appointed as furniture consultants directly by HSL to help create a collaborative and contemporary working environment for this prestigious laboratory and office project in London. Spread over 16 floors with five split-level basements and home to more than 1,000 staff working within a connected suite of laboratories spanning more than 100,000 square feet – all floors had to be furnished appropriately and with budgets being considered at all times.
Pi worked closely with the professional teams to deliver a tailored solution for all furniture including: offices, boardrooms and executive suites, meeting rooms, multi-use spaces, breakout hubs and canteen, multi faith area, terraces, post rooms, high density specialised storage facilities, highly specialised laboratories including a CL3 laboratory.
Services provided: Consultancy, tender writing and evaluation, audits, procurement, planning, user trials, materials testing, budgeting, logistics and installation.
