Project details:Pi were appointed by DNAe as FF&E consultants for their workspace and laboratory move into the new Scalespace building in White City. Pi undertook thorough audits of existing furniture, evaluating each piece for reuse, upcycling, recycling or to form part of their Corporate Social Responsibility policy. Working alongside DNAe, Savills and Mansfield Monk, Pi held full responsibility of the FF&E scheduling and delivery. The project started in the ‘good old days’ pre Covid but, once this hit, the project was delayed abruptly and Pi came into our own. We adapted quickly, working closer than ever with the professional team to ensure unavoidable costs were negated and that the project was still delivered within budget and to new timescale but with new safety and security protocols in place to protect all involved. This was one of our first commercial projects to have to consider Covid screens, distancing regulations and how to work in a newly landscaped work place. Our experience working with hospitals across the UK at the start of the pandemic, meant Pi were well placed to advise DNAe on best practice during this very strange time. We are proud to say, everything was delivered as it should have been, even with the added Covid ‘complications’ and we have a very happy client!
