Project details: The CCDC is the main base for Children’s Community Health Services in Croydon providing a range of specialist screening, assessments and treatments. In partnership with PM Devereux architects and working directly with the hospital trust team, Pi were asked to work on this scheme as specialist furniture consultants.
From the given criteria we used our experience and knowledge of dealing with HBN/HTM regulations and specific patient needs to specify a child centric clinical facility where the focus was on the ergonomics of furniture for children. Providing an environment where machinery blended away and assessments became play!
